Initially known by the name of Sports Complex Corgas, this sports area was one of the first to be implemented in São João da Madeira.

Built to address various aspects, consists of four tennis courts, volleyball grounds and beach football, an Olympic pool eight runners with the dimensions of 50x25 meters, an area jumps to the pool, a children's pool, interior and exterior bar. This complex also includes a Gymnasium to practice various sports such as basketball, handball, combat sports, gymnastics and indoor soccer.

Since September 11, 2004, this unit was renamed to Sports Pinto Complex in posthumous tribute to the great basketball player Sanjoanense, disappeared in March 2002. However, before productions have taken place a number of improvements in order to be able to give the dignity due to the allocation of the athlete's name to the sports area where so often played and coached.
